You can think of the nicest things, involve the best musicians, dress it up nicely. It’s all useless if there is no audience watching all the beautiful things you have made. With the Stageband we have already experienced that too often. Beautiful programs where the musicians had to go to the limit, for 10 people in the room. That discourages, for that you have to build solid skin over the course of your career. Fortunately, we have been able to win all the big international prizes with the band in the last 10 years, so we know we are good.:)

The problem is that discouraging promoters in the cultural sector threatens further impoverishment of the programs. Soon we will only be able to go and see the biggest musicals, the most popular artists, etc ..

In order not to be dependent on subsidies etc. we try to reach everyone for this project in the Northern Provinces of Holland. Because we are sure that many music lovers live in our beautiful North. If we reach them, and they believe in quality, they will be there we expect.

Those music lovers also have a responsibility. If something special is organized, and many people do their best to make something special, then appreciate that with a visit. Only then will these distinctive original programs be made at a high level. We really dare to promise that with a nice occupancy rate, we will come back with a challenging program next year. Not because it is financially lucrative for us, cause its not, but because we like to be distinctive. It is our passion to create and execute beautiful things.
