We arranged new music for the combination Stageband Jazz Orchestra and Vocal Group Treats. Of course we have an hour of music together with the Hållsta Suite. In that respect, the program for the break is completely finished. But the 2nd part of our concert series consists of the CD presentation the CD: “Wasting Time”, with all new music recently written by the members of Treats. Although the regular members of the Treats accompaniment band all play in Stageband Jazz Orchestra, and are present, it is of course the most fun when the Big Band also played after the break. And although we have already played as Big Band with Treats, we still need a lot of new arrangements. And we arranged that.

Marco Kerver arranged the final of the evening, the Jasper Blokzijl original: Take Me Higher. A piece with Echeriaan proportions, because it only goes up. Fascinating. Tony Hoyting arranged his own composition Last Minute, and made us realize again where he got the title. (Could have been better called “After The Last Minute”). Jasper Blokzijl made a very swinging arrangement of I’m Walking (Fats Domino). In short, a lot of new music, we hope that all these efforts are appreciated with your visit.
