The Hållsta Suite is named after the hamlet of Hållsta in the municipality of Brunflo in Sweden. About 20 km west of the big city of Östersund. Hållsta is on the E14 and on the Hållstasjön, a lake. At Hållsta, that lake turns into a dam, and then to Hållstakvarn. A mill (kvarn) was driven there a century ago with water. That mill is still there, but is very dilapidated, therefore beautiful rustic. To let the visitor of the concerts enjoy the winter beauty of this village, we have shot the last Christmas of a snowmobile the most beautiful images of the area. With the luck of a record snowfall, these have become beautiful fairy-tale images. Although you can go deep into the woods with a snowmobile, there are of course still spots that we could not film. For example along a steep rock, or above a not frozen stream. That is why we are going to Hållsta again soon to film those places with a drone. I am very curious about the images that we can shoot in this way. We will make a film composition of all that material, which we will use for the Suite. In this way the concert visitor comes even more in the right atmosphere, and can imagine a picture of the beautiful area just below the Arctic Circle.
