Fourth rehearsal Hållsta Suite

Yes, we are now running into the difficult pieces. Much of the suite is beautiful, but some pieces remain persistently difficult. We were also a bit unlucky yesterday with the emergence of a half trumpet section. Of course, that always rehearses a little less pleasantly. What was really nice was that Dennis Elderman could substitute for the prevented Imre Kruis. The drum place in a Big Band is of course very important, so if you need a replacement, you always hope for the best. Last night the whole suite once again played through. And that was fun. Next week we will mainly study the transitions in the suite, play it all over again, and if we have time we are already busy with the repertoire with Treats in the lead after the break.
